Lively Spring Wedding | Katie & Jens | Aledo, Tx

This wedding was very near and dear to our hearts since Katie is Kasi’s best friend and we’ve seen Katie and Jens’ relationship from the start. Katie has also seen our relationship from the start and it’s been great having a friends to grown with and venture into new stages of life together. It was also my first time shooting at the lovely Still Water Meadows (while Kasi was Matron of Honor, of course). We were a little concerned about storms that day but the bad weather cleared up about the same time as people were arriving which gave us some nice even lighting and cooled things off a bit and made the venue super green and lush. I’m also thankful that Jens is generous with his Wisconsin beer! And, yes, that is her garter she’s using as a scrunchy.
