The Poet Andrew

We loved getting to shoot with Andrew around our friend’s neighborhood in Queens. We were fresh off the plane and just finished hauling our luggage up four flights of stairs before we went straight to a park facing the east river. We enjoyed embracing the harsh direct sunlight for a few photos and then moved out of the park and into the neighborhood. We were going for an 80s/90s hip hop vibe so we were happy to find and old car and some graffiti to go with Andrew’s vintage attire. I know we’re not the first photographers to shoot in front of graffiti but it had the right vibe for our shoot and thanks to Andrew for bearing the cold with us. Andrew has a rad music project under his artist name, The Poet Andrew.
